Mako Tsunami loves aqua monsters. He was raised on a fishing boat by his father, who mysteriously disappeared during a storm. Kajiki is convinced his father is still alive, because one of their lifeboats was also missing after the storm. At Duelist Kingdom, he lost some Starchips to Yugi Moto, but we do not know who had the final hand in kicking him off the island. In the Battle City Tournament, he Duelled Katsuya Jonouchi (Joey Wheeler) and lost again.
