Aayla Secura was born to an influencial clan on Ryloth. She was taken to be a Jedi at an early age and was
apprenticed early on to Quinlan Vos. While on a mission investigating black market sales of glitteryll, a hybrid spice of
Kessel glitterstim and Ryloth ryll, Secura and Vos both lost their memories at the hand of Pol Secura, Aayla's own uncle.
Pol kept Aayla hostage as insurance that the Jedi wouldn't bother him. However, Quinlan was able to track her down, regardless
of his lost memories. The Force powers she had forgotten were triggered and without the restraint of the Jedi Code, her Force
powers destroyed Pol. She fled Ryloth and hid from the Jedi on the prison moon of Kiffex. There, she was hypnotized by an
imprisoned dark Jedi named Volfe Karrko. He tricked her into freeing him and made her duel her former master. The battle sparked
her memory and she recalled everything. She made peace with Quinlan and they returned to Coruscant. Believing that the two
needed time apart, the Jedi Council reassigned Secura to Master Tholme, Vos's former instructer. Under his tutelage, Secura
graduated to knighthood. When a 200 Jedi rescue force and a battalion of Clone Troopers was sent to Geonosis, Aayla was among
them. She showed her military prowess as well, when she led a group of Clone Troopers in the following Battle of Geonosis.
A week later she was sent in a covert operation on the Wheel space station. Under the guise of Jayzaa, a starship mechanic,
she found her old master disguised as a mercenary, Koto Vas. This role seemed to come a little too naturally to him and Secura
was unsettled. Vos felt guilty that he couldn't prevent the Jedi from falling into the Separatist trap on Geonosis. Under
the strain of the Clone Wars, he even started questioning whether the Republic was worth defending. However, the information
she collected allowed the Republic to prevent a strike on Kamino. She was among a task force sent to assist Daakman Barrek
in storming a battle droid foundry on Hypori. This storming led to the first appearance of General Grievous. Aayla was one
of the few to escape alive. A few months later, she learned that Quinlan had joined the Confederacy. She was distraught, but
her close friendship with Jedi Master Kit Fisto allowed her to overcome her grief. Shortly after, she ran into a rogue Jedi,
now bounty hunter named Aurra Sing. The two women battled with lightsabers. Aurra let her guard down though, and Aurra injured
her substantially. She did not kill her how ever, and turned Aurra in. She was killed at the end of the Clone Wars.
