Harry Potter was born on July 31st, 1980 to a wealthy wizarding family in Godric's Hollow, England. He lived a relatively normal first year of life. But then on Halloween 1981, Lord Voldemort learned their location from their Secret Keeper. He killed both harry's parents and totalled their house. After his parents had been killed by Voldemort's Avada Kedavra curse, he turned his wand on one-year-old Harry Potter. However, he hadn't counted on the protection his mother gave him, causing his curse to backfire on Voldemort, reducing himself to a paracite-like creature. Rubeus Hagrid was one of the first on the scene. He was confronted by Harry's Godfather, Sirius Black. After Hagrid insisted he couldn't take Harry, Sirius loaned him his flying motorcycle to take Harry to his Aunt and Uncle's home. Harry grew up with his ordinary Aunt, Uncle, and his cousin, Dudley. After ten years of beatings from his cousin, he began recieving anonomous letters that his Aunt and Uncle wouldn't let him read. The letters became more and more neumorous. Eventually the Dursleys and Harry went on the run to get away from the letters. They finally found the only place the letters wouldn't come, a small hut on a rock just off the coast. This time, the mysterious sender took a more forcefull action. Rebeus Hagrid returned and explained everything. He also informed Harry that he'd been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There he met Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, who became his best friends. He also met Draco Malfoy, who swiftly became his fiercest of enemies. He quickly became a player on his house's sports team in the wizarding game of Quidditch. With his top of the line Nimbus 2000 Racing Broom he soared through the skies, leading his team from victory to victory. They seemed shooins for the Quidditch Cup. Until he got involved in the school's most darkest secrets; the headmaster, Albus Dumbledore was holding The Philosopher's Stone at Hogwarts for his friend, Nicholas Flamel. Harry believed the potions teacher, Severus Snape, was trying to steal it. Harry, Ron, and Hermione passed all the obstacles protecting the stone. Harry had to enter the final chamber alone, and discovered, although someone was trying to steal the stone, it wasn't the ill-tempered Potions Master, but the wimpy Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Proffessor Quirrel, who was possesed by Lord Voldemort. Harry managed to get the stone, but Voldemort told Quirrel to choke Harry to get the stone. But the protection Harry's mother gave him was still there, and Quirrel died, but The Dark Lord lived on, and went into hiding in a forest. When Harry went into his 2nd year at Hogwarts, students started suddenly turning to stone and of course Harry had to investigate it. He also discovered something very dark about himself, he could talk to snakes, not a very good talent among wizards. Harry discovered the source of the danger was a magical diary, which preserved the memory of the17 year-old Voldemort. Harry ended up in conflict with a giant snake, The Basilisk. Harry faced near death against the reptilian behemoth, but ended up killing it with the help of the school Sorting Hat and Dumbledore's pet Pheonix. When he entered his Third Year, Harry's godfather Sirius Black had been sent to the wizard prison of Azkaban, and apparently hated him, had escaped. He spent the entire year being protected by horrible creatures called Dementors. He later discovered that Sirius did not hate him, and was not responsible for the crimes he'd comitted. He was, in fact, framed by The Death Eater, Peter Petigrew. Harry was shocked to discover that Peter Petigrew was, in fact, Ron's pet Rat, Scabbers. Peter Managed to escape, and the Dementors got to Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and were narrowly saved by a Patronus of unknown origin. After that, Harry and Hermione had to go back in time to save Sirius from the Dementors, and Harry had to save himself from the Dementors. During the summer before his 4th year, Harry felt the Dark Lord was getting stronger and his fears became even more pronounced The Dark Mark, Voldemort's insignia appeared in the sky at the Quidditch World Cup. Once the school year begun, Harry discovered the school would play host to a magical competition, The Tri-Wizard Tournament. The Tournament is played by 3 schools, each with one competitor. When it was decided who would compete, Harry was chosen as a second competitor for Hogwarts, even though he didn't register for the competition. He had to face incredible danger, both during and between tournament events, because of the constant interferance of Rita Skeeter, who gives a new meaning to the phrase 'The press is everywhere'. She tarnished his reputation to the point of extintion. During the final event, he and the other competitor from Hogwarts , Cedric Diggory where transported to a graveyard, were Cedric was killed by Peter Pettigrew, and Harry witnessed Voldemort being reborn. He narrowly avoided death, and just managed to get back alive. In his 5th year he was cornered in an alley with his cousin by Dementors. He shot them with his Patronus, and was forced to go to a hearing and narrowly avoided expulsion from Hogwarts. He had to deal with a Defense Against The Dark Arts who seemed to exist purely to cause trouble, which was made by her connections with the now currupted Ministry of Magic, which allowed her to become the very first Hogwarts High Inquisitor, a position soon made more powerful than even the Hogwarts Headmaster. Eventually she retained all four of the following positions: Senior Undersecretary to The Minister of Magic, Defense Against The Dark Arts Teacher, Hogwarts High Inquistor, and Hogwarts Headmaster. She even banned Harry from Quidditch and Confiscated his broom. He was plagued by dark dreams at night, all of them involving Voldemort. He was convinced he was being possessed, and breifly studied Occlumency, before giving it up. He ended the year by leading a group into The Department of Mysteries, where he faced tragidy when Sirius Black was killed by his Death Eater cousin, Bellatrix Lestrange. He then, with the aid of Albus Dumbledore, Squared off against Lord Voldemort himself.
