Ronald Weasley

Ron Weasley was born on March 1, 1980 into a lower-middle class family of wizards. He was the sixth child, and was plagued by hand-me-downs. His family was all male, except, of course, his mother, until his only younger sibiling was born, a girl named Ginny. He lived a more or less normal life until the age of 11, when he started school at Hogwarts. He made quick friends with the famous Harry Potter. He also made friends with Hermione Granger, the bookworm of the year. He accompanied Harry and Hermione through the trap door gaurding The Sorceror's Stone. He was brought to the hospital wing after experiancing the full force of one of the later enchantments when he was beaten to a pulp by the White Queen in a magical chess match. In his second year, Ron did things, such as following Harry into The Dark Forest, and later into the legendary Chamber of Secrets. In his third year, Ron discovered his hand-me-down rat, Scabbers, was actually The Death Eater, Peter Pettigrew, one of Harry's father's school friends. In their Fourth Year, When Harry became a second Hogwarts champion, Ron became jealous up until the 1st Task, and soon after discovered his attraction to Hermione. He was later taken hostage for the 2nd task, for which Harry had to rescue him from the bottom of the school lake. Ron was helpless, however to help Harry when he was transported to a graveyard to witness Voldemort's Rebirthing Ceremony. Ron's fifth year brought many suprises into Ron life, first discovering that his parents were part of The Order of the Phoenix, a group of wizards fighting against Lord Voldemort, then being named a Prefect along with Hermione, and then later became keeper of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team.
