Barquin D'an was the bitter older brother of Figrin D'an, the frontman of the famous band the Modal Nodes. Barquin was also a musician, but had no where near the amount of talent that his younger brother was gifted with. His own carreer failing, he used his life savings to travel to Tatooine to talk to his brother. However, the Modal Nodes were long gone. Stranded, he played with a number of local bands and got a life-time gig with the Max Rebo Band playing Jabba's Palace. It is unknown what happened to him.
