Rystáll was born on the streets of Coruscant's undercity to a human father and a mother of an unknown species. As a young woman, she fell in love with a member of the Black Sun Criminal organization. He promised he would show her all the galaxy could offer. He was lying, and she and her parents became slaves. He bet them and several Ortolans in a sabacc game and lost to a dashing gambler by the name of Lando Calrissian. Lando hated slavery and set the slaves free. The Ortolans were friends of famous musician Max Rebo. They got Rystáll a job with his band during their lifetime gig in Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine. Rystáll was a house favorite and even attracted the attention of the illusive Boba Fett, much to the jealousy of her band mate, Lyn Me. It is unknown what happened to her after the gangster's death.
