When Baby Bossk was first hatched he blinked his small eyes, yawned to show his petite fangs and devoured every one of his unborn brothers and sisters, since he was the first born and as a Trandoshan he was entitled to the first meal of his siblings.  Once he reached maturity he began Wookie-hunting, the violent Trandoshan sport involving killing Wookies and bringing back their pelts to be awarded pionts by the female diety, The Scorekeeper which count toward that "T'doshok's" place in the afterlife.  But when Bossk's father, Cradossk, was hired to find member for The Bounty Hunter's Guild, he had to get his son into it.  After a brief uh... briefing by Darth Vader he went out to catch Han Solo and Chewbacca.  after going through many adventures and having Boba Fett beat him to the bounty, he decided to try to steal the carbon block of Han Solo from Boba Fett, but failed patheticly.  Years later, after hearing of Chewbacca's death he decided to rub it in Solo's face.  But the fight left him with a broken nose and a ton of loose teeth to remind him not to provoke the wrath of an emotionally wounded Correllian.
