Ryou Bakura is a good natured Britsh boy in Yugi's class. His father is an archealogist who gave his son an artifact called the Millenium Ring from Egypt. The merchant who sold it to him said had something do with Duel Monsters. When Bakura put it on, it enfused him with the spirit of an Egyptian graverobber, who sought the other Millenium Items for himself. When Bakura was invited to duelist kingdom, the graverobber saw it as an opportunity to try to get the other Millenium Items, but failed to get Yugi's Millenium Puzzle. After the finals he confronted Pegasus and won his Millenium Eye. He was also invited to The Battle City Tournament, but lost to Malik Ishtal (Marik Ishtar) and lost his Millenium Items.
